Supply Chain Buyer – Multiple Openings in Costa Rica

About the role
Applied Materials is seeking experienced supply chain buyers to join its new office in Heredia, Costa Rica. The positions cover operational, NPI, transactional and purchasing specialist functions, supporting the company’s semiconductor and display equipment manufacturing.
Key responsibilities
- Purchase materials, supplies, machinery and services required for state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facilities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor inventory, manage delivery schedules and coordinate logistics.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost‑effective solutions.
- Support the procurement of essential items that enable product development and production.
Required profile
- Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, at junior to senior levels.
- Interest in the semiconductor and advanced display industry.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Willingness to work 100 % onsite in Heredia, Costa Rica.
