Buyer – Global Procurement

About the role

Join Stryker’s supply chain team to ensure the right materials are available for operational needs and business goals. You will manage supplier relationships, analyse demand and inventory trends, and coordinate purchasing activities to maintain supply continuity, cost efficiency, and service performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supply sources to keep adequate inventory of materials, components and equipment.
• Analyse supplier quotations, evaluate pricing and delivery schedules, and support sourcing decisions.
• Create purchase orders, monitor open orders and expedite deliveries to resolve supply issues.
• Analyse demand, usage and inventory data to support supply planning and replenishment.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing and operations to maintain planned inventory and production levels.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics, drive accountability and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and present reports on inventory performance, supply continuity, cost analysis and operational results.
• Support strategic initiatives such as product lifecycle management, cost‑reduction projects and supply‑chain optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, supply planning, materials management, procurement or supply‑chain operations.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Experience working with ERP or MRP systems.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
