About the role
Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is looking for a Summer Sales Intern in Fort Lauderdale. The internship lasts 8 weeks and takes place on the Sales team, where you will work alongside your intern class in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Work on projects with your intern class
- Gain coverage knowledge in both Property & Casualty and Group Benefits insurance
- Learn about the agency and receive guidance from an assigned mentor, an experienced Insurance Sales Executive
- Sharpen your networking skills
- At the end of the 8 weeks, complete a simulated full-cycle sales process and present your learning in a mock final presentation to Sales Leadership and the Executive Team
Required profile
- Major in Risk Management and Insurance or Sales, preferably entering their senior year
- A previous insurance or sales-focused internship is a plus but not required
