About the role
Substitute teachers step in for absent Covenant teachers, delivering lesson plans and maintaining classroom order while upholding a Christian worldview.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and teach lesson plans as directed by the absent teacher
- Maintain a clean, respectful, and orderly classroom
- Follow school procedures and keep records of attendance, accidents, and incidents
- Ensure student safety at all times and submit a classroom report at the end of the day
Required profile
- Detail‑oriented with ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, approachable, and capable of managing an orderly classroom
Required skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of similar experience (preferred)
