About the role
Covenant Christian High School in Indianapolis seeks a dedicated Assistant Girls Swim Coach who will mentor student‑athletes spiritually and athletically, helping them grow in both performance and faith.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in organizing and implementing practice sessions and game instruction.
- Educate athletes on rules, strategies, techniques, and safety regulations.
- Develop physical conditioning programs and evaluate fitness levels.
- Motivate and encourage athletes, assigning positions based on strengths and weaknesses.
- Maintain equipment safety and stay current on rule changes and coaching methods.
Required profile
- Uphold high academic and athletic expectations for student‑athletes.
- Collaborate with other assistant coaches and team parents.
- Provide spiritual mentorship aligned with the school’s Christ‑centered mission.
Required skills
- Excellent leadership and motivational abilities.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
