Substitute Dance Teacher

About the role

The Art of Motion, a dance school serving ages 2.5 and up in Fayetteville, AR and part of the Ensemble Performing Arts network, is looking for an experienced substitute dance teacher. The position is part-time, with a flexible schedule and afternoon and evening availability.

Key responsibilities

• Instruct group classes in various dance styles for various age groups.
• Showcase a strong background in dance through educational, teaching and/or performing experience.
• Demonstrate a genuine love for teaching and experience working with young dancers.
• Provide reliable transportation and pass a routine background check.
• Be dependable, professional, enthusiastic, punctual and friendly.

Required profile

• Experience in ballet, jazz, hip hop and tap.
• Solid foundation in dance.
• Preferred: post-secondary dance training such as a certificate or degree in dance performance, education or a related field.
