Strategic Client Executive, Rx Solutions

About the role

As a Strategic Client Executive on the Rx Solutions team at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), you will be the primary point of contact for the MMA field offices on pharmacy management, from post-sale implementation to ongoing client support. The role is based in Raleigh, North Carolina, with estimated travel of 30-35% to field offices across the assigned regions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client pharmacy market bids, RFPs and PBM negotiations so that field office needs match partner deliverables.
• Present results and recommendations to clients and prospects.
• Conduct final reviews of new ASA agreements and collaborate with carriers and PBMs on corrections before client signoff.
• Lead regular training sessions for the field force on clinical and pharmacy topics.
• Present the consulting model during pre-renewal meetings.
• Work with clinical pharmacists and the actuarial team to assess pharmacy strategies tailored to each client, improving member adherence and driving cost savings.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent career experience.
• At least 10 years of direct pharmacy experience from a PBM, carrier, consultant or pharma manufacturer perspective.
• Experience managing major accounts and benefit consultation.
• Legal work authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of pharmacy benefits and major account management.
• Plus: current L&H licensure or ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment.
• Plus: in-depth knowledge of PBM contracts and extensive negotiation experience.
