Senior Client Manager Rx Solutions

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency's Rx Solutions team provides data-driven, ongoing program management to help clients improve the vitality of their pharmacy contracts, whether carve-in or carve-out plans. As a Senior Client Manager, you manage client deliverables, support Regional Directors and collaborate with the team, field, PBMs and strategic partners to meet deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary resource for pharmacy-related questions and review draft contracts to ensure alignment with MMA provisions and best practices.
• Assist in analyzing and negotiating employer benefit pharmacy contracts, focusing on contract language, clinical and formulary strategies and employee purchasing trends.
• Track deliverables, coordinate accurate reporting and presentations, and communicate directly with clients and company representatives to address potential issues.
• Stay updated on industry changes to ensure compliance and reduce risk.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent career experience.
• A minimum of 10 years' experience in account management, pharmacy benefit management or carrier experience.
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. permanently and without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Plus: pharmacy pricing/underwriting experience and current life and health licensure or ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology, drivers of pharmacy costs and PBM contracts.
• Aptitude for data analytics.
