Strategic Business Development Lead

About the role

Realm is expanding its AI solutions for the mining industry and needs a Strategic Partnerships professional to drive growth with large mining and industrial enterprises. You will work closely with the Head of Operations & Business and the CEO.

Key responsibilities

• Build and own a strategic account pipeline across mining and adjacent industrial verticals.
• Identify targets, map organizations, and develop relationships from operations managers to C‑suite executives.
• Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from initial contact to signed agreement.
• Represent Realm at industry conferences, executive briefings, and site visits as the primary company impression.
• Provide field intelligence to inform product, pricing, and positioning decisions.

Required profile

• 6+ years of enterprise sales or business development experience with a track record of closing large accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree and experience selling multi‑million‑dollar deals in heavy‑industry sectors such as mining, manufacturing, or oil & gas.
• Proven ability to manage long‑cycle, multi‑stakeholder sales processes and build trust with VP‑level and C‑suite executives.
• Polished communication skills for formal presentations, executive conversations, and written materials.
• Willingness to travel 15‑30% of the time, including to remote mine sites.
• US citizen or permanent resident; based near a major US travel hub.
• Strong preference for an existing network in mining, energy, or heavy industrial sectors.
