Store Manager - Hot Topic Outlet

About the role

Hot Topic is looking for a Store Manager for its Las Vegas North Premium Outlets location. The manager leads the store in meeting sales targets, recruiting, developing people and managing performance, while delivering great customer service in the mall.

Key responsibilities

• Help the store achieve its sales plan and comparable sales goals
• Recruit, develop and retain a collaborative team
• Create buzz and customer engagement through social media, store web apps and clienteling
• Run an operationally sound business with clear structure, delegation and customer-first selling
• Watch shrink, loss prevention, payroll hours, schedules and other factors affecting business
• Work with retail leadership and HQ on trends and customer feedback
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy
• Control supply ownership and spend, and adapt to new technologies
• Merchandise the store using planograms and launch promos on time
• Mentor staff through recognition and feedback

Required profile

• At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
• High school diploma or GED equivalent; a degree is an advantage
• Open-minded and curious about pop culture fandoms and music trends
• Able to move around the store, merchandise products and pack and unpack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds

Required skills

• Communication, recruiting and operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising)
• Ability to adapt to change in a fast-changing retail environment

Pay starts at $18.81 per hour.
