Startup Marketing Associate

About the role

Render is looking for a Startup Marketing Associate to own the operational engine of its Startup Program, building and running founder‑focused events in San Francisco and scaling relationships with the startup ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Run the operational backbone of the Startup Program, handling application triage, credit issuance, partner UTM tracking, and CRM hygiene across HubSpot and Airtable.
• Build and execute the San Francisco founder‑engine: source guest lists, manage venues, invitations, RSVPs, and end‑to‑end logistics for flawless events.
• Drive event marketing: craft invitations, landing pages, follow‑up sequences, and post‑event nurture for founders and developers.
• Partner with Developer Relations to ensure content and programming resonate with technical audiences.
• Grow Render’s footprint in the SF ecosystem by maintaining relationships with founders, operators, accelerators, and VC platforms.
• Track attendance, attribution, and conversion to measure impact and optimize future events.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in sales, partnerships, marketing, program or operations management, recruiting, or developer relations.
• Deep roots and strong network in the San Francisco startup ecosystem.
• Understanding of the AI transformation and how developers adopt tools.
• High agency, strong organization, and ability to own logistics from invitation to follow‑up.
• Based in San Francisco (including for evening events).
