Start of Care Registered Nurse – Home Health Visits

About the role

We are seeking a Start of Care Registered Nurse to provide home health visits in Montgomery County, Maryland. The role offers flexible full‑time or part‑time schedules, Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑5 pm, with 1:1 patient care and a strong work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Follow designated care plans and perform home visits within the assigned geographic area.
• Administer medication, wound care, treatments and procedures as ordered.
• Monitor client conditions, report changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager, and document doctors’ orders.
• Conduct client assessments, case management and coordination.
• Accurately document observations and interventions using a tablet‑based EMR system.

Required profile

• Current Maryland RN license.
• Minimum one year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and travel to assigned cases.
• Strong interpersonal and computer skills; prior home‑care experience preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Solid computer skills, including tablet usage.
• Medication administration and wound‑care techniques.
