Staff Software Engineer – Provider Growth & Activation

About the role

Rula is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join its Provider Growth, Acquisition & Supply Management team. You will shape systems that help providers discover, onboard, and deliver care on the platform, directly impacting patient access to mental health services.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building scalable distributed systems.
• Strong full‑stack experience with modern frontend frameworks and backend APIs.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives across multiple teams and influence technical strategy without direct authority.
• Hands‑on experience using AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) in daily workflows.
• Passion for fostering a high‑performing engineering culture through code reviews, documentation, and mentoring.
• Excellent communication skills to align technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
