Staff Software Engineer

About the role
HungerRush is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead full‑stack development of its e‑commerce, growth marketing, and consumer applications. This remote position will involve the entire software lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain new and existing functionality across the stack.
- Write high‑quality, secure, and performant code following best practices.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and engineering culture.
- Mentor junior engineers and help troubleshoot production issues.
Required profile
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proven success delivering SaaS, e‑commerce, or consumer‑facing web applications.
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud environments, preferably Azure.
Required skills
- C# and .NET ecosystem.
- Microsoft Azure services (SQL Azure, Service Bus, Redis Cache).
- Front‑end frameworks such as Angular, Bootstrap, Vue.js.
- Knowledge of queues, caches, CDNs, and scalable web architectures.
