Engineering Manager

About the role

Lead a team of 8-10 engineers building e‑commerce, growth marketing, and consumer applications for HungerRush. Partner closely with product managers and stakeholders to align technical execution with business goals while driving AI‑enabled development.

Key responsibilities

• Grow and lead a high‑performing engineering team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
• Design and build scalable, reliable systems using modern cloud architectures.
• Contribute directly to code, focusing on architecture, design, quality, and AI‑driven improvements.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and customer stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and deliver business value.
• Continuously improve development processes, standards, and automation.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience as a technical leader and people manager.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven success delivering SaaS, e‑commerce, or consumer‑facing web applications and APIs.
• Deep experience with distributed systems, cloud environments (Azure preferred), and modern architectures.
