Oracle Projects Lead – Functional Transformation

About the role

Deloitte’s Enterprise Performance team is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead functional Oracle Projects activities across the delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post‑production stabilization. This role focuses on designing and configuring Oracle Projects capabilities such as project setup, costing, billing, capitalization, and project controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead functional design and configuration for Oracle Projects modules, including project setup, costing, billing, and controls.
• Facilitate discovery workshops, translate business needs into functional requirements, and recommend scalable solutions.
• Partner with finance, data, and technical teams to define integrations, conversion activities, reporting, and testing scenarios.
• Manage conference‑room pilots, user acceptance testing, defect triage, deployment readiness, and creation of user training materials.
• Oversee workstream deliverables, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder decisions while identifying post‑go‑live improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Oracle Projects experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to lead projects or workstreams.
