Staff Registered Nurse – Medical ICU (6 Night Shifts)

About the role

Join Froedtert Health as a Staff Registered Nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). You will work three 12‑hour night shifts (7 PM‑7:30 AM) on a rotating schedule, providing high‑quality care to adult in‑patients.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Deliver evidence‑based care in a fast‑paced MICU environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies.
• Participate in shift hand‑offs and contribute to unit safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Current Wisconsin RN license or multi‑state compact license.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred; non‑BSN nurses must enroll in a BSN program within 15 months of hire.
• Clinical competence in adult inpatient care.
• Completion of BLS within 90 days and ACLS within one year of hire.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
