Staff Accountant (Hybrid)

About the role

The Staff Accountant will join Beeline Medicines' finance team to support day‑to‑day accounting operations, the monthly close process, and financial reporting for a clinical‑stage biotechnology company. This early‑career role offers broad exposure to general ledger, accounts payable, accruals, and fixed‑asset accounting in a fast‑growing life‑sciences environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the monthly financial close by preparing and posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with close workpapers for prepaid expenses, accruals, and fixed assets.
• Process accounts payable: review and code vendor invoices, coordinate approvals, maintain vendor records, and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare and maintain accounting schedules and supporting documentation for assigned balance‑sheet accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations.
• Assist with clinical and research program accrual processes in collaboration with Clinical Operations, Finance, and external partners.
