Accounting Manager

About the role

The Accounting Manager will serve as a senior accounting resource and operational backbone of the Finance team, partnering with the VP of Accounting & Controlling to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the end‑to‑end monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, managing the general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain complex accounting schedules and analyses for prepaid expenses, accruals, fixed assets, lease accounting (ASC 842), and clinical/research program cost tracking.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, management reporting packages, and board‑level financial materials.
• Partner closely with the VP, Accounting & Controlling to ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal control standards.

Required profile

• Seasoned accountant with extensive experience in diverse accounting scenarios.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take full ownership of functional areas.
• Strong judgment and attention to detail in financial reporting.
