Sports Medicine Sales Representative - South East Idaho

About the role

Stryker, a global medical technology company, is hiring a Sports Medicine Sales Representative for its South East Idaho territory. This is a field-based, outside sales role where you act as the face of Stryker's products and a sales lead, helping doctors and staff understand and use the products. The role is based in Pocatello.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Stryker Endoscopy products, which help people recover more quickly from sports-related injuries.
• Prepare and lead sales pitches and demo meetings, and work with cross-divisional sales reps to set strategic goals and targets.
• Take part in trade shows, analyze the market territory, manage inventory reports and negotiate prices and transaction terms.
• Solve product problems for customers and act as a subject matter expert.
• Educate doctors, nurses and staff on product use and maintenance, and run direct product evaluations in the operating room or office.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, or five years of commercial sales or medical field experience including operating room experience.
• 2-5 years of outside sales experience (medical fields preferred).
• Able to drive an automobile and to travel overnight 50% of the year (the text also states 40% travel percentage).
