Sports Medicine Sales Representative - Austin, TX

About the role

Stryker, a global medical technology company, is hiring a field-based Sports Medicine Sales Representative in Austin, Texas. As the face of Stryker products, you act as a sales lead, educating doctors, nurses and staff on the use and maintenance of products and helping them choose the right solutions for sports-related injuries.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and lead sales pitches and demo meetings, and work with cross-divisional sales reps to set strategic goals and targets
• Participate in trade shows and analyze the market territory
• Manage inventory reports, negotiate prices and transaction terms, and solve product problems for customers
• Educate doctors, nurses and staff on product use and maintenance, and run direct product evaluations in the operating room or office
• Generate growth in sports medicine sales and train doctors on product usage

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of five years of commercial sales or medical field experience, including operating room experience
• 2-5 years of outside sales experience (medical fields preferred)
• Ability to drive an automobile
• Confident communicator, influential networker, strategic closer, trusted partner and competitive achiever
