Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – San Antonio

About the role

AIM is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to deliver therapy services in Texas schools on a 1099 independent contractor basis. You will work under the supervision of a certified SLP, providing both in‑person and tele‑practice support to students across multiple campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans created by the supervising SLP, delivering therapy across various communication modalities.
• Provide tele‑practice services when appropriate, adapting to each campus’s service delivery model.
• Document session data and student progress accurately and on time.
• Communicate effectively with the supervising SLP regarding student needs and progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Speech‑Language Pathology or a major in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Active Texas SLPA license.

Required skills

• Ability to follow and implement supervised treatment plans.
• Proficiency in documenting clinical data accurately.
