Occupational Therapist – Independent Contractor (San Antonio)

About the role

AIM is seeking licensed Occupational Therapists to provide school‑based OT services across Texas districts as 1099 independent contractors. You will work directly with students, using AIM’s proprietary technology to streamline documentation and therapy management.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver school‑based occupational therapy services in line with each district’s model.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive documentation meeting federal, state, and local compliance.
• Provide clinical supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as needed.
• Develop and deliver in‑service training for staff and families.
• Support students with physical disabilities, including lifting, transferring, and positioning.

Required profile

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Texas OT license in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
