Speech-Language Pathologist for Charter Schools

About the role

Provide speech and language services to students across multiple charter school campuses in the High Desert region, including assessment, therapy, and consultation, while ensuring compliance with state special education regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, articulation, fluency, and voice assessments to determine eligibility for special education services.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals and deliver individual and group therapy sessions.
• Participate in IEP meetings, write assessment reports, and present findings to families and staff.
• Consult with teachers on classroom communication strategies and support AAC device implementation and training.
• Maintain compliance with assessment timelines, triennial review deadlines, and collaborate with school psychologists, ABA providers, and other related service staff.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid California SLP license and/or CCC‑SLP credential.
• Experience conducting special education assessments and writing legally defensible reports.
• Strong knowledge of IDEA and California special education code.
• Reliable transportation for travel between campuses.
