Licensed Clinician (OPT)

About the role

Carolina’s Creative Counseling, PA delivers outpatient behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and adults. The position provides in‑home or in‑office therapeutic interventions for clients with mental health or substance‑use diagnoses.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver in‑home or in‑office services as requested by area mental health, including school‑based settings when appropriate.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance client functioning at home and in the community.
• Continuously assess client needs, service availability, and appropriateness.
• Collaborate with treatment team members and families to meet goals outlined in the Treatment Plan.
• Complete required documentation (treatment goals, progress notes, billing) in compliance with local, state, and federal standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a mental‑health field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counseling).
• Meet Medicaid qualifications and be enrolled with N.C. Medicaid/NC Tracks.
• Hold a valid state license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, licensed psychologist, nurse practitioner, etc.) and bill only within the scope of that license.
