About the role
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to work one‑on‑one with individuals who have intellectual or developmental disabilities. The position is part‑time with the potential to expand to full‑time (up to 40 hours) across three locations in the Pittsburgh area.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance such as dressing and grooming.
- Accompany clients on errands, appointments, and community integration activities.
- Assist with daily tasks including meal preparation and support clients in their favorite hobbies.
Required profile
- One year of experience working with I/DD individuals (training available through an apprentice program).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
