Spa Coordinator

About the role

The Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs is hiring a Spa Coordinator for its Spa department. This is a seasonal position of 32-40 hours per week, with flexible shifts and availability on holidays and seven days a week. The role covers guest interaction, reservations, clerical work and basic maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with guests by phone and in person, taking Spa and Salon reservations and explaining services
• Enter reservations accurately into the treatment room and therapist system
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest needs and requests, and greet every guest warmly
• Keep the area tidy, check equipment, locker rooms and gift shop stock, and ensure proper coverage when leaving the area
• Maintain department maintenance procedures and checklists, and keep a monthly supply inventory
• Report incidents or accidents to the Spa Director, and inform the facility manager of issues
• Submit paperwork and financial reports when applicable, receive payments and reconcile daily sales, deposits and receipts
• Enroll members and guests in programs and make reservations for spa services and personal training
• Take part in the Manager on Duty schedule, assist staff with lifting and storing equipment, and keep the staff communication book up to date

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D.; college degree preferred
• Retail and phone experience preferred; customer service experience required
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Ability to multi-task, stay organized and work with a professional manner and appearance

Required skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer skills in Word and Excel
• Working knowledge of the facility's services and products
