HVAC Manager

About the role

The Greenbrier Hotel in White Sulphur Springs is looking for an HVAC Manager within its Engineering department. The role leads the HVAC team and keeps the resort's heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems safe, efficient and compliant with resort standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the HVAC team, including scheduling, task delegation and performance oversight.
• Ensure all HVAC/R systems operate safely, efficiently and in compliance with resort standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide hands-on support for complex diagnostics, repairs and system installations.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs for HVAC and refrigeration systems across the resort.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for energy efficiency and cost savings.
• Coordinate with other Engineering leadership on large-scale and capital improvement projects.
• Oversee vendor relationships, service contracts and equipment inventory.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, repairs, compliance records and work orders.
• Serve as the point of contact for HVAC-related emergencies or escalated system issues.
• Support team development through technical guidance, training and accountability.

Required profile

• HVAC/R experience.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Recommended: experience with Building Automation Systems, and with Trane Tracer Summit and Ensemble platforms.
