Solution Architect

About the role

The Solution Architect will lead multiple software projects as a project manager or internal consultant, working on highly complex software initiatives that require deep expertise in at least two specialized architecture domains.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate business and technical discussions about the future architectural direction at the portfolio or product‑line level.
• Analyze, design and develop roadmaps and implementation plans by comparing the current state with the target state.
• Examine and develop domain‑level architectural requirements within the product portfolio or team.
• Participate in the enterprise architecture governance model for the domain.
• Contribute to the development of reusable software platforms and data‑transfer components that can be orchestrated in various ways.
• Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to support project development and operational activities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in software architecture.
• Academic background equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in computer science or another STEM discipline.
• Ability to engage clients on aligning business outcomes with technical solutions.
• Proven capability to design implementation roadmaps based on current‑future state analysis.
• Professional knowledge of configuration options and associated costs.
• Experience configuring complex solutions and maintaining operational stability across the project lifecycle.
• Skill in budgeting, investment planning and managing operational stability.
• Strong business sense to navigate organizational matrices, anticipate obstacles and identify work‑arounds.
