Software Engineer II

About the role

This position performs moderate research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line.

Key responsibilities

• Write and review portions of detailed specifications for system components of moderate complexity.
• Complete simple bug fixes and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with development team members to translate product requirements into software designs.
• Operate in various development environments such as Agile and Waterfall while working with key stakeholders.

Required profile

• 1+ years of software engineering experience.
• BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Basic oral and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with data manipulation languages and simple data models.
• Experience in Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .Net.
• Familiarity with industry best practices such as code coverage and test‑driven development.
