Software Engineer II - Full Stack & AI

About the role

The Decision Services Technology team builds analytics and AI‑powered solutions that help customers investigate transactions, detect fraud, and make data‑driven decisions. As a Software Engineer II you will design, develop, test, deploy and support full‑stack applications and AI‑enabled capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and support full‑stack applications, REST APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot and modern frontend frameworks.
• Contribute to AI‑enabled automation initiatives and integrate machine‑learning models or services into business solutions.
• Participate in technical design discussions, architectural reviews and apply cloud‑native, distributed patterns.
• Develop and maintain unit, functional and integration tests, apply secure coding practices and support code reviews.
• Analyze performance, support production incidents, and improve observability, monitoring and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–6 years of experience developing enterprise software solutions.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, OOP and distributed systems.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate in globally distributed Agile teams, and continuously learn new technologies.

Required skills

• Java 8+ and Spring Framework (Spring Boot)
• Building REST APIs and microservices
• React, Angular or comparable frontend frameworks
• Python for automation or AI use cases
• Oracle, SQL Server or similar relational databases with advanced SQL
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, SonarQube
• Exposure to AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
