Software Engineer - Front End

About the role

Revel is building the next‑generation software stack that controls critical hardware across aerospace, automotive, energy and manufacturing. We are looking for a Front End Software Engineer to design and improve user interfaces that help operators work safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement polished, reliable React user interfaces with a focus on usability and safety.
• Collaborate with operators to translate real‑world needs into intuitive software features.
• Develop tools, frameworks and workflows that simplify the software stack and reduce maintenance.
• Maintain rigorous engineering standards across the full stack, including testing and code quality.
• Diagnose complex technical issues and deliver durable solutions for customers.
• Stay adaptable, quickly learning new technologies and expanding knowledge of both frontend and backend systems.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience building React applications with TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of React hooks, context, and performance optimization.
• Experience with real‑time data visualization and high‑frequency data updates.
• Proficiency in modern CSS techniques (CSS‑in‑JS, variables, responsive design).
• Hands‑on experience with unit and end‑to‑end testing frameworks (Vitest/Jest, Playwright/Cypress).
• Familiarity with WebSocket‑based architectures.
