Senior Integration Developer (Remote)

About the role

Fathom Management is seeking a Senior Integration Developer to design, build, and support scalable enterprise integrations across applications, APIs, data platforms, and cloud environments for government and enterprise clients. The role combines backend development, API integration, and architecture expertise, covering the full integration lifecycle from design through production support.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop end‑to‑end integration solutions spanning backend services, APIs, integration layers, and cloud infrastructure.
• Translate business and technical requirements into secure, maintainable integration architectures.
• Implement integration patterns such as event‑driven, pub/sub, hub‑and‑spoke, point‑to‑point, ESB, and iPaaS.
• Build and secure RESTful, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs, applying OAuth2, JWT, SAML, and API‑key standards.
• Develop data mapping, transformation, and orchestration across heterogeneous systems.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and multi‑environment deployments.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues, and provide expert post‑deployment support.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and configuration documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on software development with Java, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and API design.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and cloud‑native deployment practices.
• Proven ability to work across the full SDLC, including testing, CI/CD, and production support.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
