About the role
Amazon is seeking Software Development Engineers to build and ship Amazon Linux repositories and AMIs, supporting millions of AWS instances worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software that ships Amazon Linux repositories and AMIs.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to prioritize requirements and deliver solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, well‑documented code and participate in code reviews.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues quickly.
- Continuously improve software quality through automated testing, CI/CD.
Required profile
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience with scalable systems.
- Experience with at least one programming language.
Required skills
- Linux operating system expertise.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) knowledge.
