Social Media Marketing Intern, Summer 2027

About the role

Atlassian is looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern for its Summer 2027 program, working remotely. The internship runs 12 weeks between May/June 2027 and August/September 2027 and is paid. You will help plan, publish and activate social media strategies across owned, earned and paid channels, while learning from mentors and contributing to a growing approach. The position is not eligible for F1/J1 students or work sponsorship.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Community, Talent Brand and other teams to create engaging social media campaigns.
• Foster and grow the social media community by engaging users in comments and through amplification.
• Create content for social feeds, from on-brand copy to visuals.
• Track social media trends and conversations to inform strategy.
• Analyze social media performance and share insights for improvement.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, returning after the internship and graduating by June 2028.
• Entry-level candidates only, with less than a year of professional experience (internships and co-ops excluded).
• Previous experience creating social media content personally or professionally, or in a social media department or club.
• Enjoys social media, storytelling and being "chronically online"; curious and committed to a full-time 40-hour week.

What we offer

• Paid 12-week internship with mentorship and professional growth.
• Base pay depending on location: Zone A $43-$51 per hour, Zone B $39-$46 per hour, Zone C $36-$43 per hour.
• Possible eligibility for benefits, bonuses, commissions and equity.
