AI Demand Intelligence Intern - Summer 2027

About the role

Atlassian is hiring an AI Demand Intelligence intern for its Global Demand Campaigns team, working remotely in the U.S. during the summer of 2027 (May/June to August/September). The internship is paid, lasts 12 weeks and focuses on building an AI-powered account engagement engine that helps teams worldwide get the most out of Atlassian tools. It is not eligible for F-1 and J-1 students, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Key responsibilities

• Pilot a closed-loop AI account engagement engine that selects accounts, runs personalized outreach and hands sales-ready accounts to sellers.
• Analyze account and prospect intelligence, enriching accounts with firmographic, technographic and buying-committee data.
• Use an AI propensity and next-best-action model to rank target accounts and recommend actions such as nurturing, event invites or escalation to sales.
• Build an AI agent that executes nurture, generates seller-ready account briefs and notifies account owners in Slack, with human approval on every send.
• Deliver a controlled pilot with before/after measurement, an executive results readout and a repeatable playbook.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, returning after the internship and graduating by June 2028.
• General knowledge of core marketing frameworks and business operations, with an emphasis on demand generation.
• Interest in the B2B SaaS landscape and in using AI for marketing growth.
• Curious, committed to a full-time 40-hour week, and entry-level (less than a year of professional experience, excluding internships).

• Base pay of $36-$51 per hour depending on the U.S. pay zone, plus eligibility for benefits, bonuses, commissions and equity.
