About the role
MBJ Network, a media production and entertainment company based in Chicago, IL, is looking for a Social Media & Community Management Intern. The internship is remote, lasts 3 to 6 months and is completely unpaid. It offers hands-on experience in the combat sports industry and in media, with executive letters of recommendation awarded after the internship ends.
Key responsibilities
- Use social media to engage with the MMA and boxing fan community online
- Coordinate online social marketing and advertising campaigns
- Collaborate with internal departments on projects and assignments
- Develop communication strategies and continuously engage the online community
- Assist with managing MBJ Network's social media groups and weekly marketing agendas
Required profile
- Passionate and motivated, with strong writing, presentation, interpersonal and customer management skills
- Thrives in a creative, flexible and varied environment
- Open-minded, enthusiastic and adaptable
- Prefers challenges, a fast pace, new ideas, a future focus and an unstructured environment
