Social Media, Community & Content Coordinator

About the role

Bird&Be is seeking a highly organized, creative, and community‑minded Social Media & Content Coordinator to support, execute, and grow its presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and emerging platforms. The role blends hands‑on content creation, community engagement, copywriting, scheduling, reporting and audience relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Create original short‑form video and static content for Instagram and TikTok, including filming, editing, and publishing Reels, TikToks, Stories and posts.
• Write compelling captions and copy, adapting tone for each platform.
• Monitor and manage community engagement by responding to comments, DMs and mentions promptly and on‑brand.
• Maintain and update the content calendar, coordinating timelines with marketing, creative and product teams.
• Plan and execute content shoots, source props/locations, coordinate talent or UGC creators, and organize assets.
• Stay on top of trending audio, formats and challenges, adapting them quickly for Bird&Be’s channels.
• Repurpose existing assets (photoshoots, campaigns, influencer content) into new social‑first formats.
• Track social and community performance metrics and compile regular reports.
• Assist with community‑building initiatives such as UGC campaigns, giveaways and Q&A sessions.

Required profile

• 1–3+ years of experience in social media, content creation, community management or related marketing roles.
• Passion for social media, storytelling and digital culture.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone across platforms.
• Comfortable on‑camera and skilled at directing talent or UGC creators.
• Highly detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with mobile video editing tools such as CapCut, InShot or Adobe Premiere Rush.
• Experience with social scheduling and analytics platforms (Later, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite).
• Comfortable using Google Sheets and project‑management tools daily.
• Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube trends and platform updates.
