Smart Home Sales Technician

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home, an NRG‑owned leader in connected home solutions, as a Smart Home Sales Technician. You will combine consultative sales with hands‑on technical expertise to help customers create smarter, safer, and more sustainable homes.

Key responsibilities

• Meet customers in their homes, retail locations, and events to present personalized smart‑home, security, and automation solutions.
• Generate leads, follow up with prospects, and close sales while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Install, service, and troubleshoot Vivint smart‑home equipment, ensuring proper operation and customer satisfaction.
• Educate customers on system usage and provide ongoing support.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills with a sales mindset.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to pass background and licensing checks.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 lb, climb ladders up to 14 ft, and work in confined spaces.

Required skills

• Installation and troubleshooting of smart‑home equipment.
