Field Service Professional – Smart Home Installation

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home, an NRG‑owned leader in intelligent home solutions, as a Field Service Professional. You will install cutting‑edge smart home technology and proactively recommend upgrades to enhance customer safety and convenience.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems at customer residences.
• Assess homes on‑site to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate homeowners on system operation to ensure they can protect their families.
• Maintain safety assessments for each job and adhere to company safety standards.

Required profile

• Customer‑first attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to pass background screening and licensing requirements.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, work in attics and varied weather conditions.

Required skills

• Installation and troubleshooting of security cameras.
• Installation and troubleshooting of smart locks.
• Installation and troubleshooting of home automation systems.
