Field Service Professional – Smart Home Installation

About the role

Join Vivint’s Smart Home team as a Field Service Professional, installing cutting‑edge smart home technology and offering customers upgraded solutions for safety and convenience.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems at customer homes.
• Assess homes on‑site, recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate homeowners on system use to ensure peace of mind.
• Maintain safety assessments and adhere to company safety standards.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to pass background screening and licensing requirements.
• Customer‑first attitude with strong integrity and rapport‑building skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, work in attics and varied weather conditions.

Required skills

• Installation and troubleshooting of security cameras.
• Installation and troubleshooting of smart locks.
• Installation and troubleshooting of home automation systems.

• Competitive hourly base pay ($26.18‑$28.55) plus uncapped commission and performance incentives.
