SMA Compliance Manager

About the role

Invesco is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to support its Managed Accounts line of business and the Americas Compliance team. You will work across global compliance groups and business partners, focusing on Fixed Income trading compliance and SMA oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Fixed Income Trading Compliance, building rules and reporting within Investortool’s Perform OMS.
• Own and improve pre‑ and post‑trade compliance workflows, identifying gaps and scalability improvements.
• Represent compliance in SMA initiatives, flagging risks and proposing solutions.
• Review client agreements, IPS documents, statutes, and platform manuals.
• Serve as liaison between business leaders and compliance, presenting complex information clearly.
• Participate in new product launches to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Lead cross‑functional projects with global compliance teams, developing monitoring activities and controls.
• Potentially lead functional teams or technology projects to automate compliance processes.

Required profile

• 10+ years in financial services, with at least 5 years in compliance at an investment adviser.
• Experience with Fixed Income trading desks and SMA structures.
• Strong knowledge of the Advisers Act of 1940, fiduciary standards, and custodian requirements.
• Ability to interpret and implement complex regulatory requirements.
