Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A (SaaS / IaaS)

About the role

Qumulo’s finance team plans and forecasts for a fast‑growing cloud data platform business that sells on both consumption and subscription models. As a Senior Financial Analyst you will own high‑visibility projects such as the cash‑flow model and quarterly executive deck, reporting directly to the Director of Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Own the quarterly cash‑flow forecast and underlying model, from deal terms through to the balance sheet.
• Build and manage operating expense and headcount plans in Workday Adaptive Planning, conducting plan‑vs‑actual reviews with budget owners.
• Model top‑line metrics (ACV, bookings, billings, ARR) across subscription and consumption contracts and analyze impacts of contract changes.
• Produce the quarterly executive deck and board/investor reporting materials.
• Support annual planning, rolling forecasts, and end‑to‑end departmental budgeting.
• Assist with investor diligence, capital‑raising activities, and automate repetitive tasks using Excel, SQL, Python, or AI tools.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in FP&A or a finance role within a SaaS, IaaS, or cloud technology business.
• Hands‑on knowledge of SaaS business models and metrics (ARR, NRR, GRR, bookings, ACV) and revenue recognition for subscription and consumption contracts.
• Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash‑flow statement interconnections.
• Advanced Excel skills with experience building scenario analysis and variance frameworks.
