Site Security Representative

About the role

MANTECH is seeking a motivated Site Security Representative to protect highly sensitive programs at the Marine Corps’ 2d Marine Aircraft Wing in Cherry Point, NC. This onsite position involves overseeing Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) facilities, ensuring compliance with DoD and Marine Corps security protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with the Special Security Officer (SSO) and Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO) to manage security for SCI facilities.
• Support policy implementation and overall security posture of intelligence programs.
• Oversee facility construction to ensure compliance with site security plans and ICD 705.
• Maintain physical access controls, secure storage, and emergency response planning.
• Document and report security incidents, analyze vulnerabilities, and support mitigation efforts.
• Design and conduct quarterly Security Education and Awareness (SETA) training.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years experience, or Associate’s degree with 2+ years, or a Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent organizational and investigative skills with ability to conduct facility inspections.
• U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance.
• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and communicate effectively with coworkers and management.

Required skills

• Operation of physical security systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control panels.
• Familiarity with NISPOM, ICD 705, and other government security regulations.
• Experience with risk assessments, system hardening, and cyber defense measures for intelligence data systems.
