Site Logistics Operations Specialist – Data Center

About the role

The Site Logistics Operations Specialist will support the Site Logistics Operations Lead in managing logistics processes for a data‑center site and its associated warehouse. The role focuses on ensuring safety, security, compliance and stakeholder satisfaction while coordinating with third‑party logistics providers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day logistics operations at the assigned data‑center site, adhering to 4S standards (Safety, Security, SOX compliance, Stakeholders).
• Monitor operations continuously, identify gaps, and develop remediation plans.
• Coordinate with third‑party logistics leads to meet inventory accuracy, movement, server rack handling, shipping and receiving requirements.
• Standardize processes across Meta data‑center sites and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
• Build cross‑functional relationships and facilitate effective communication with internal partners.
• Produce monthly compliance audits and support financial reporting at month/quarter/year‑end.
• Drive inventory reconciliation, manage obsolescence, and correct errors.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement initiatives and share best practices with fellow specialists.
• Monitor performance metrics and support Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance activities.

Required profile

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proven experience in logistics process analysis and optimization.
• Understanding of logistics systems, inventory management, and data‑center operations.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple stakeholders.
