Shuttle Bus Driver Workleader

About the role

The Shuttle Bus Driver Workleader reports to the Transportation Services Supervisor and is responsible for coordinating driver and vehicle scheduling, overseeing preventative maintenance, and supporting drivers in daily operations at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily shuttle bus assignments and ensure vehicles are ready for service.
• Schedule driver training, vehicle maintenance, and repairs; manage relief drivers for training compliance.
• Collect and record shuttle deficiencies, maintain deferred repairs log, and communicate repair needs to vendors.
• Maintain driver inventory, wheelchair inventory, and upload GPS data daily.
• Provide onboarding and refresher training to drivers on routes, policies, and equipment.
• Track deferred maintenance, manage safety award and wheelchair inventory programs, and assess ridership performance.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
• Ability to pass annual DOT physical and maintain insurability.
• At least two years experience as a shuttle or bus driver and five years of licensed driving experience.
• Proven leadership ability in customer‑focused positions.
