Shuttle Bus Driver – Full-Time/Part-Time

About the role

Join the Cleveland Clinic Health System as a Shuttle Bus Driver, providing safe and reliable transportation for patients, visitors and employees across the Main Campus and related facilities. You will play a key part in creating a welcoming experience while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, courteous shuttle transportation for patients, visitors and employees across the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus and related facilities.
• Assist passengers with physical challenges, operate and secure the wheelchair lift, and ensure proper handling of wheelchairs.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections before and after shifts, record deficiencies, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Maintain situational awareness, report suspicious behavior to security, and record ridership data.

Required profile

• Valid State Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with air‑brake and passenger endorsement, and less than six points on record.
• Minimum five years of commercial driving experience and ability to read and complete maintenance checklists.
• Maintain eligibility for insurance coverage as required by the employer and assume responsibility for traffic violation fees.

Required skills

• Commercial driving training for operating a shuttle bus up to 40 passengers.
• Basic computer skills for recording data and completing inspections.
• Operation of wheelchair lift and securing wheelchairs safely.
