Shift Manager – Fast‑paced Restaurant Leadership

About the role

The Shift Manager leads the restaurant team during assigned shifts, ensuring high standards of service, food quality, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the General Manager to drive business initiatives and maintain a positive guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the MIC Success Routine and prioritize customer needs to maintain consistent satisfaction.
• Oversee team members’ completion of Shift Excellence tasks and ensure a clean, neat appearance.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive relations.
• Provide regular performance feedback to the GM and constructive feedback to team members.
• Assist with profit & loss management, cash control, inventory, and labor scheduling.
• Ensure food safety, quality, proper product preparation, rotation, and health‑safety standards.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of restaurant or retail experience; shift‑lead experience preferred.
• Minimum age of 18 and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 lb and perform on‑site duties.

Required skills

• Basic cash register operation and cash handling.
• Fundamental math skills for transactions.
