Service Technician – Overlook at Bernardo Heights

About the role

We are looking for a Service Technician to join the Overlook at Bernardo Heights community in San Diego. The role involves performing technical and mechanical tasks to keep the building, grounds, amenities and common areas safe, functional and well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC issues.
• Maintain the appearance and safety of common areas, grounds and amenities.
• Provide on‑call support as required, following the Tuesday‑Saturday schedule.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience in property‑management or construction environments is highly preferred.
• Willingness to work the specified schedule and be on call.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety standards.

Required skills

• Technical troubleshooting of building systems.
• Preventative maintenance procedures.
