Service Supervisor – Residential Community

About the role

The Service Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of the community, including grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance activities and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply procurement, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance and upkeep of grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas, parking lots, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by service team members and external contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards and corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating orders with the Community Manager while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical or technical issues in a residential community setting.
• Ability to coordinate vendors, schedule work, and manage inventory efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with residents, team members, and contractors.
